Local Agenda 21 exists to:
Local people, just like you, have joined forces to help protect and improve today's environment which will, therefore, also help to safeguard the environment for future generations.
If you want to help, or if you just have an interest in the environment - you don't need to be an expert - and if you are prepared to give up a little of your time, there are ways in which to get involved.
As an individual, or as a member of another organisation, (eg. RA, RSPB, PTA, SWT, CPRE, college etc) you can join one or more of our working groups (Transport, Open Spaces, and Waste & Recycling).
Meetings are held about every 6 weeks, at 7.30pm at Epsom Town Hall. Like minded people can get together and share their concerns.
There is a useful networking opportunity and a chance for exchange of ideas between people with a range of different interests. We review what is going on in the Borough and work on practical projects which will make a difference.
